Saint John's is a thriving Anglican church set in the centre of Shildon, the home of the railway.

Here we aim to express love for God and neighbour in all that we do. And to help people discover for themselves the significance of Jesus Christ.

You are warmly welcome to join us for worship at one of our services.

If you would like to be involved in other ways you will find plenty of opportunities from Craft groups, to Bible Study

Sometimes there are people who rather than just shake their head and tut at injustice get up and do something, then they keep on doing it. For five years now, since the age of 17, Naomi Tomlinson has been working to change the world, one life at a time, amongst the street children of Payatas in the Philippines. Monday September 2nd at 7:30pm is an opportunity to hear Naomi speak at Saint John's about her experiences, the development of the project, and the children she works with.
